Our two days away were marred by 8am breakfast and the excuse of people having hospital appointments were weak. We stayed Friday and Saturday night. Not sure clinics function at weekends. We were paying guests did not expect to be treated as a nuisance not being on time for breakfast. There was an offer to have breakfast in the room... More

Big room with king size bed - but bed was not as comfortable as others on our trip. Room was close to the atrium where buffet breakfast was served. Good selection of hot and cold items for breakfast. Parking is free but it is very tight to turn around so as not to back out onto busy road. Bus station... More

We went for 2 nights as a golf outing. The accomodation was first class!, rooms were spotless, and the bathrooms were of a high standard. For the owner Ted , nothing was too much trouble, helping us out with getting to the golf, and bringing all our gear back afterwards, to allow us to enjoy our time away. Great place... More

We stayed here 7th-9th June and welcomed by Dot and her Grandson. Welcome pack very useful with recommendations for restaurants and buses. We used the Salisbury Arms on both nights for evening meals. Room very clean with nice big shower cubicle Breakfast is buffet style and well worth it. Best one of the week. Will stay again if we are... More

We arrived at Aaron Lodge to a warm, friendly welcome from Ted & Dot. Showed us to room and advised what to see and where to get bus into city centre, 3 miles away. Shopping centre is about a 10 min walk away with restaurants a bus ride or drive 5-10 mins away. There is no restaurant on site. Room... More

I stayed here recently with friends. We found both things we liked and things we didn't. You can judge by what's most important to you. Sometimes you go in with very high expectations because of the reviews and then it's easy to be disappointed when actuality doesn't meet that. I believe that's why being informed will help you make a... More

My wife and I stayed at Aaron lodge the night before a trip to hospital and I have to say it was absolutely the most friendly place I have ever had the pleasure of staying. We were made to feel at ease very quickly indeed. Ted, the owner had called us earlier in the day to ask what time we... More
