During our recent trip to Dublin, London, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, this was by far our favorite hotel. The room was large, with a big comfortable bed. The room also had a desk and couch. The TV channel offerings were somewhat limited compared to other places we stayed during the trip, but this was a minor inconvenience. The bathroom was HUGE,...

Fantastic hotel in the University's Pollock Park but most definitely NOT student accommodation. A traditional building with an 'academic feel' - oak panelled dining room with high ceilings etc. Walked everywhere we wanted to go - castle, parliament and Holyrood Palace. Situated right next to Holyrood park it was a stone's throw to the path up to Arthur's Seat. Parking...

The hotel itself sits within a campus for university students. Its approximately 5 minutes walk to Arthur's seat and around half an hour into Edinburgh old town. At check in I noticed that I had booked a double room instead of two singles (I travelling with my son) and mentioned this. The staff were friendly and accommodating and changed our...

My husband and I we're heading up to Edinburgh for one night for a romantic night away to celebrate both our birthdays. We chose this hotel as the pictures looked nice and the price was right....how wrong we were. The 20 mins walk from town was actually 40 minutes and we arrived to find the hotel is actually in the...

Not far from city centre(£10 with uber/taxi), in a very safe campus. The accommodation is managed by the college so forget any little treat. The reception is not in the same building, no extra towels and cold room. Non appropriate lighting and basic furniture. Free parking on site. Staff was very kind and helpful. Great breakfast, good selection of sausages/meats.

I took the other half for a long weekend in Edinburgh and we stayed here, and it was great! The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The room was lovely, clean, comfy bed and decent size ensuite. The breakfast was delicious! Plenty to choose from the cold buffet and I ate nearly everything on offer. The cooked breakfast had...

My daughter and I stayed here on February 11th. The hotel is situated within the Pollock Halls of residence and the exterior of the hotel is traditional in style. The public areas are interesting and could be described as quirky and a little bit different! lots of carved wooden details on the staircase and so on. Our room was extremely...

Excellent hotel and food. Room great. One ginger-ish bearded man working at checkout at 7:30pm on 6/02/17, incredibly rude to young men returning squash key. They held the door open for us and kindly asked to return the key as they were in a rush. He needs to learn some customer service. Overall good stay but he set a very...
