We stayed in the Clan MacGregor Room which offered a fantastic view of Salisbury Crag. We had a triple room with a double and twin bed. The bathroom was modern, clean and had plenty of room. The room was clean and the beds were made up each day of our stay. This room is located on the front of the...

My husband and I stayed here one night while visiting Edinburgh. Although we arrived late, the host (I think his name was John) was warm and welcoming. John gave us an upgrade to Fraser room, which was a bigger room than the one we reserved. The whole place was very neat and very charming. The room and bathroom were very...

Our stay at the Clan Walker was most memorable. It was our first visit to the UK and to have warm and friendly hosts added to the enjoyment. The room was smaller than what you see on the website. Comfortable for watching TV, but a pain to get from the bed to the bathroom. The bathroom was minute - the door to the bathroom opened outwards and then not fully as the bed was in the way. Again, we were not informed that the room was in the...

jawEdinburgh, Owner at Clan Walker Guest House, responded to this review

The guest has complained that he was not informed that the room was on the second floor, however in order to reserve the room, you have an icon to view several images of the room, which clearly show the views from the 2nd floor window, obviously showing that the room is not on the ground floor. If the guest had...
