Our hosts made us very welcome on arrival and showed us to our room, had a brief informative chat and asked if we had any questions. As we had arrived after 7pm we enquired as to somewhere local to eat for the evening. We were recommended the Salisbury Arms which was just up the road and went there where we... More

Nice folks at the Walker!! 'Great place to stay in Edinbrugh. This B & B has a nice mix of old & new. Old high ceilings & newly renovated bathrooms. Lorna & Doug were great hosts, the breakfast was tasty & on time and the beds are comfortable. Doug recommended Salsbury\'s Arms which was tasty & we thoroughly enjoyed Rob... More

The guest house is located close to the city center (if you want to walk, you can go walking to downtown, or go by bus directly from the door of the accommodation). The hosts are very nice people who help the visitor in everything you need. very clean and comfortable rooms. great breakfast !!! Perfect stay.

I spent 4 nights at this lovely guest house - made lovely by warm people from the moment i arrived to when I left. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised how homely it felt. It was a good sized room, all the key features and bonus of wifi. Breakfast was lovely and just what was... More

Easy to book online, and we took the suite for two nights. We found a spacious room with a comfy bed and a large TV! There was plenty of storage, lots of surface area and all the lighting worked. The en suite was modern and clean with a roomy shower cubicle, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Thoughtful... More

The owner are very accommodating our flight from Belfast to Edinburgh got us in before official check-in however we were able to avail of our room hours before... More

We stayed there for two nights in July and the best I can say about it was that it was alright. Booking online was easy and the owner prompt in replying but once we were there in person she didn't seem all that interested. The room we were in could have used some touching up and the beds were unusually... More

I booked the suite for myself and two others for two nights, and it was absolutely perfect! The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and everything was amazingly clean. The showers (a big criteria of mine) were great. It was a little bit outside of town, but Edinburgh is a great city for walking so that wasn't any issue. Plus,... More
