Stayed here for the Wales Rugby match. Disappointed with the result, but not with the accommodation. Hospitable hosts, nice breakfast, smoked salmon for breakfast!! Would recommend this place. When I go back to Edinburgh,I'll probably book here again.

We had a really wonderful time at Clan Walker. My boyfriend and I needed somewhere to stay over Hogmanay and found the place almost by accident - we booked very last minute and had few options. However, we're extremely glad we did. We were in the Mckenzie room - the smallest room in the house - and were warned repeatedly...

My daughter and I came to Edinburgh for the weekend to visit the Christmas market. We chose the Clan Walker since it was just 10 minutes by bus from the centre and looked really lovely with good reviews. The twin room we had was big and the beds very comfortable, well decorated and warm. However the breakfast wasn't nice, the...

Lovely size hotel room. Was very quiet just the way we needed it. Breakfast was lovely each morning with a really good choice of items. No faults to pick. Bus stop right outside means Edinburgh centre is very accessible but if your going in and out all day get a day ticket as it works out cheaper and you can...

Our hosts made us very welcome on arrival and showed us to our room, had a brief informative chat and asked if we had any questions. As we had arrived after 7pm we enquired as to somewhere local to eat for the evening. We were recommended the Salisbury Arms which was just up the road and went there where we...

Nice folks at the Walker!! 'Great place to stay in Edinbrugh. This B & B has a nice mix of old & new. Old high ceilings & newly renovated bathrooms. Lorna & Doug were great hosts, the breakfast was tasty & on time and the beds are comfortable. Doug recommended Salsbury\'s Arms which was tasty & we thoroughly enjoyed Rob...

The guest house is located close to the city center (if you want to walk, you can go walking to downtown, or go by bus directly from the door of the accommodation).
