My partner and I stayed in the big room overlooking the street for two nights and we loved the experience. The room was spacious and full of character, super clean and comfortable. The breakfast delicious, good quality ingredients and a lot to choose from. The hosts, very happy, helpful and friendly. We have tried to book it again several times... More

This B&B was terrific, a little unusual in the room decor, well the one I stayed in. It was small, as was the bathroom, but still adequae for one person. Adrena and her husband were lovely, especially Adrena, as I was on my own. I had friends collecting me each day, and they were impressed with with her too. The... More

Lovely warm welcome when we arrived. Shown straight to our room - which had been upgraded to a four poster bedroom! Room was very spacious, equipped, clean and full of traditional features and character. Staff could not have been more helpful with regards to service and information. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty choice. Location perfect. A little out of centre... More

This is a professionally presented B&B - the hostess is the most gracious source of information about local attractions, transportation and general interest! We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights here and would highly recommend it to other couples looking for quiet, romantic and spacious accommodation. We had the room with the high-poster bed - it looked over the front street... More

What a warm reception we had at Kingsburgh. Dropped off our bags in the morning and headed for the sites. Conveniently located on Corstorphine with excellent bus access. The breakfast is very impressive and generous. The staff are extremely attentive and offered helpful advice. Immaculate room.

We stayed here for the hogmanay celebrations and what a fabulous choice I made. As soon as we arrived we had a warm reception from the owner who kindly brought a complimentary beer for my partner. In the room there was biscuits chocolates sherry whiskeys and all of the teas and coffees. The room was lovely and also important to... More

We had a fab couple of nights at the Kingsburgh. Andrena was very welcoming and gave us lots of useful info regarding Edinburgh. We had a lovely complimentary drink on arrival and a really nice room with a four poster bed and lots of storage space. There was an ample supply of shampoo, shower gel etc. The breakfast was nothing... More

We arrived without having booked in advance. Luckily there was still one room available (if only for one night), and we were welcomed in a very friendly manner. The big room was in style with the historic house and neither that nor the en-suite left anything to be wished for. The breakfast was great as well - we'd stay here... More

A weekend break in the city, we decided to go 5* B&B, but it makes me question the whole rating system, unless my idea of 5* is different from the certification bodies. Kingsburgh House itself is excellent, couldn't really fault it nor the decor. Our room was a bit tight for space though and one chair for 2 people means... More
