Thanks for your wonderful and warm hospitality! The rooms were clean, check in was smooth, breakfast was sumptuous everyday with different specials daily. Tasted a local way of living in the suburban Edinburgh, and it's only 20 mins bus ride (bus 7,37 one minute walk away from the guest inn) away from the city centre (prince street). Homemade muffins and...

The owners are a lovely couple and their B&B was everything we wanted and needed. We had the small double room downstairs which is small but was well decorated and nice and bright and size didn't matter since we weren't spending much time in the room! Bed was very comfortable too had a great nights sleep since B&B was in...

I've been in Edinburgh with my parents just for two nights but this had been enough to know Neil's kindness and hospitality. He made sure that everything was OK, the room and the breakfast were lovely. My mother is celiac but she didn't have any problem because Neil prepared gluten free food for her. Thank you Neil!

Here we go - our second visit to Brae Lodge in 10 months. I'm not quite sure whether we returned to see Edinburgh or our hosts, Lesley and Neil, lol. Nothing has changed much but then again it's very hard to improve on what was offered the last time around. Warm welcome, lovely clean room with comfortable beds and lots...

We stayed in this cosy guest house for two nights, we had a large front bedroom with a huge bed, it was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were interesting and varied and soya milk was provided for my husband instead of milk. On the outskirts of Edinburgh with regular buses from nearby bus stop.
