We stayed at the Edinburgh East as it had good car parking and bus access into the centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good choice with eat as much as you like . The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

This was my young son's first trip away - we live in northern Ireland. Our 3 night stay was very enjoyable. Our room was spotless and kept to a high standard by the lovely woman who cleaned our room daily. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the continental breakfast - kids eat free and it certainly... More

Just spent 2 nights at this hotel. Plenty of car parking. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The room was huge, very clean and the bathroom the same. The bed was comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent and taking the meal deal with the room was by far the best option. As for location staff... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently, the room was clean and tidy, the location has a bus stop just outside that gets you into the city centre, only £1.60 for a single trip. The room we stayed in was with 2 others on the first floor, in a different area from the others on the same floor, after... More

The room was cramped and stiflingly hot at 27.5 degrees. The window opening was limited to a crack and the room was cluttered with a stand up fan and an evaporation air conditioner. The combined effort of all three lowered the room temp. by 0.5 degrees. The window looked out over the extractor fan for the restaurant so there was... More

Great room in great location. Easy bus access to town (outside the door). Staff friendly and helpful. Bed REALLY comfortable. Easy parking. We left the car here in the morning before check in and bussed into town. Restaurant attached but we didn't use it. Tesco express next door. Great value.

Went late June for my finances birthday. Not as close to the city centre as you would think, about £10 in a taxi or anglers walk into town. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was nice and clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Only thing that stops this hotel getting a 5* rating is we booked a twin room... More

We stopped here for just one night on a tour of Scotland. It was actually pretty close to the City centre. The car park was nice and private and it felt secure as the area had a cctv camera monitoring system. Our room was small but we had asked for one overlooking the car park so it was our choice.... Go to a different Inn some of the staff I think could not give a hoot, but the breakfast staff were helpful and friendly and did try to help. The receptionist staff need all the guidance the management can give them, but to be fair when his back is turned I guess they can do what they like.
