With world-class golf courses just up the road, plus the excitement of Edinburgh just a pitch and putt away, our south-east Edinburgh hotel is a great place to stay. Not least because the hotel features our new generation bedrooms, with an impressive 40" flat screen TV, freshly- updated bathroom with large shower bed, and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size Hypnos bed. If you're here for the shopping, there's a huge range of stores within walking distance, at Fort Kinnard Retail Park. If you'd rather relax, then Musselburgh is a lovely sleepy fishing village. As for the partying, all the buzz and excitement of Edinburgh is within easy reach, including some iconic landmarks.

Hotel was clean, staff (only saw two people during our 2 night stay) helpful. Bed was not brand new and not too comfortable. Every time one of us moved it creaked and the other person rolled into the middle. Long freight trains rumbled past a various times, late evening, didn’t see anything about this on the website). Otherwise convenient situation.

The hotel was just as we had anticipated. We love the standard of Premier Inn and we got an amazing deal. For us, it was perfect. The location was perfect too as we didn’t need to be in the city centre.

If you are off to the highlands this is perfect for a stay over as you head north. Good location & plenty of parking. Staff were very professional and helpful. Room was as standard. Very clean and Covid secure. Would certainly stay again. I didn’t eat at pub next door. Thanks !

Positives - Excellent location for shopping and leisure. Ample free parking. Room was lovely, warm and cosy, very clean. Bathroom was spotless, great bath and shower. Bed super comfortable with clean, fresh bedding. Excellent size and position of TV. Great lighting, excellent storage/hanging area as well as lighted mirror, shelf and hairdryer. Blackout curtains were a fantastic addition too. Good heating/air conditioning system, easy to adjust to your liking. Negatives - No fridge let it down, really feel Premier Inn are missing a huge trick, still not having at least a mini fridge in the room. Would happily pay a bit more for a fridge. The standard WiFi is rubbish, if you want the decent WiFi it's £5 per day. Pillows are thin, had to ask for extra. Not enough tea, coffee, milk in room. Stayed 3 nights and only had one serving of each in the room. Also could do with more towels in the room if staying more than a night, considering during Covid, the rooms cannot be serviced daily as staff are not allowed in during your stay. The price of items in the vending machine in reception is shocking. £2 for a small bottle of water!

We stayed during an off-peak time, so the price for the night and breakfast was really good. The staff at both the hotel and connecting restaurant were very nice and helpful. The fact that the hotel is right across from the train station meant we could leave the car there and take the train up to Edinburgh.
