Brilliant place booked well in advance and got two nights and four breakfasts for under £100. As for the area, deliberately chosen to be out of the centre because of the ability to park freely, with only a £10 taxi ride to the centre of Edinburgh. Being a waterfront property there're are some bracing walks and enough inns and restaurants...

Lovely friendly staff at a good located premier inn. Number 10 bus right outside takes you to centre of Edinburgh in 20 minutes. Buy a £4 daily bus ticket and you can hop on and off buse stand trams all day.

If you don't want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh but want to be near enough to travel in this is an ideal location. It is a pretty harbour area at Newhaven Leith which is 10 min walk to BRITANNIA and on great bus routes into Edinburgh about 20 min journey time. The staff at the Premier...

Ask reception to print off bus numbers - Number 10 stops at the hotel, but walk to the main road bus stops most buses go into the city, about 20 minutes. Take the bus to York Place, take a tram to Haymarket, then a train to North Queensferry. See the new Queensferry Crossing Bridge. Stroll down to the Albert Hotel...

Good value yes, luxury no. A typical budget hotel but in a better than average location, an albeit distant view of the forth railway bridge from our room. However no phone, broken lift and heating by the way of a small convection heater (no air con). It was cold and although the room temperature could be set by a digital...

My husband and I had a couple of nights stay in Edinburgh. We had stayed at the Premier Inn Edinburgh Leith Waterfront on a previous occasion, and didn't hesitate to book it again. It's easy to find, there is ample parking for the car, the reception staff are very friendly, the room clean and welcoming and breakfast on the two...

My wife and I have stayed here on half a dozen occasions now over the last few years and can't fault the place. The staff are always attentive and friendly and the free car park helps avoid the usual city break hassle regarding parking and parking costs. A walk into Leith takes around 15/20min and it's around a 30/40min walk...

A lovely clean hotel. Reception staff were lovely especially an australian looking guy. Breakfast was allaays filled and cooked food was hot no matter what time you came down for it. Only bad comment was a weord guy in bar who was filming us whom apparently is a regular who lives local.

The Premier Inn franchise appears to get better all the time. Down from Aberdeen, I was escorting my son who was competing in the 2017 annual 'Edinburgh International Swim Meet' at the Commonwealth Pool last weekend. Edinburgh is always buzzing however, with additional visitors in the form of athletes and their support teams from over 30 countries in town it...
