At the very epicentre of one of the world’s most iconic and historic cities, Edinburgh, Angels Share Hotel & Bar is a showcase of contemporary Scottish culture. We celebrate the real Scotland - the one that is vibrant, fashionable and current. All 31 stylish bedrooms have a contemporary Scottish design featuring some of our favourite Scottish actors, musicians and sportspeople. Each iconic in their own way we celebrate them all equally as they have created their own history in Scotland. Stocking an impressive range of premium whisky, cocktails that prominently feature Scottish products, live music and our food showcases the finest modern cuisine made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We are more than just another Hotel & Bar, we aspire to cultivate a unique experience that is equal parts warm, inviting and luxurious, set against the backdrop of a culture we take pride in.

Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in industrial Britain had their most desirable neighborhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes. Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along the district’s busy main roads. Lothian Road connects to southern Edinburgh and harbors a vague entertainment district: three theaters and the city’s main indie cinema. All attract a select crowd, the sort who appreciate the Saturday Edinburgh’s Farmers’ Market around the corner. The West End’s other great thoroughfare, Shandwick Place, is dominated by trams trundling out to the suburbs and airport, and shoppers picking up last-minute items before hopping aboard.

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst on a trip to Edinburgh for my birthday. Was greeted at reception by a friendly lady (wish I had her name as she deserves acknowledgment for her perfect customer service) who gave great recommendations for food venues in the local area.

The hotel doesn’t have parking but it is well prepared to accommodate wheel chair users with lifts to every floor and spacious rooms with well appointed bathrooms that cater for both disabled and able bodied guests . I am sure you would enjoy this hotel should you choose to stay here .
