The room is normal! Nothing impressive a little small. but the owner and her son (i guess) are really nice people! She was flexible with our check in timing, also flexible with leaving our bags after checkout till our train time. The breakfast was really good (omelette, croissant...)

Guest house is located about 35-40 min walk from city center. Breakfast was good with croissants, cereal, fruit etc. Room was dated and bathroom was very small. Parking is rather difficult as it is on the street but is free.

Having never been to Edinburgh or Aonach Mor, I picked accommodations based on Rick Steves travel guide, Trip Advisor reviews and photos and the Aonach Mor Guesthouse website. For the money, it looked pretty good. When we got there, I was very let down. The landscaping was overgrown and the entrance hall looked more like entering a hostel than a...

We stayed here as part of a group of four couples (two stayed in a different establishment and two stayed here). We were assigned a room with a private bath on the third floor and if you opened the door it hit the sink. Obviously not easy to maneuver in. The room itself was relatively small but well ventilated and...

he host was very friendly and helpful in regards to sightseeing options. Parking was difficult. The advertisement is deceiving. It shows linens in lovely dining room and a full English Breakfast. We stayed for 5 nights and got the same every day, a buffet of coffee, juice, cold ham and cheese slices and bakery items. The fruit was over ripe...

We stayed at this guesthouse for our first two nights in Scotland. When we arrived, the owners couldn't be there to welcome us but our keys and instructions were in an envelope with our name on it so well organised. This large victorian house is located off the main road in a quiet area. We had a triple room on...

This was a very nice stay with a four poster bed. The shower was very good. Breakfast was great with cereals and pastries. Only slight downside was the parking. It was a hit and miss a fare. We where lucky to get a spot on another street. Would go back

We loved this place. It provided a clean room and bath, well-planned space, a very comfortable bed, fine shower, and delicious breakfasts in a lovely little dining room. The location was very good, near bus stops and Arthur's Seat, and nestled in a pleasant neighborhood within a 30-minute walk of the Royal Mile. The ambiance was quiet but friendly. We...

We arrived well before the check in time from a long flight and the staff let us rest, served tea and a scone, while they prepared a room. The location was quiet and the bus stop to city center was a block or so away. We spent three days here; great food, good location, clean room, wonderful people and we...

“I went for the cheapest single room without an en suite but this was still perfectly acceptable and the communal bathroom was always accessible and clean. If I had to say anything bad about the place then it would only be to say the room was a little too warm for my liking at night.”
