Strayed overnight on a short visit to Edinburgh and having stayed in Wetherspoons hotels before it was an obvious choice. For value for money you cannot be them, in many cases they are way better value than likes of Premier Inn & Travelodge's. Hotel is ideally located for the Zoo & Murrayfield so can see its appeal. Very easy to get into city centre on the excellent local buses which has a stop yards from entrance. Handily the small car park has spaces for hotels guest only, use facility to log your car reg when checking in. Rooms are a good size & nicely decorated, they have everything you could need. Beds are very comfortable and enormous, for a 6ft + bloke to not have my feet hanging off the bed is quite a luxury. As with the current organising of the bar area the hotels has excellent Covid measures in places, when you check in rooms have door hangers stating they have been 'Covid aware' prepared & cleaned. Staff are very help both in bar & hotel reception. Planning a return to Edinburgh at the end of the month and going to stay in The White Lady again.

Our room was clean and we felt comfortable enough. Some of the staff were very arrogant and rude. Apart from the young man Darrell who works behind the bar and he was very happy and polite and he made us enjoy our stay a lot more. The staff came over and told him because of COVID please do not contact with the customers when he was very helpful and was wearing a face covering at all times and no social distancing rules broken. Overall enjoyed our stay and thank you to Darrell he made our stay very enjoyable and welcome. Thank you.

Found this hotel for a bargain price. We were a family of 4 children aged 10 & 5. Room was a very good size. Even had a couch. It was very clean, Large bath sheets, fab amenity tray. 10 minute walk to the zoo. Ate in the pub twice. Breakfast was delicious. Very organised regarding coming 19 lots of hand sanitizer, checking track & trace had been completed. Would definitely stay here again.
