Paul and Susan welcome you into their home as if you are old friends. Our stay in Edinburgh was made so much easier with Paul's suggestions of what we should see and do in the time available. Local pubs, nearby castles not overrun by (other) tourists. Local bus routes etc etc. not the sort of "heads up" you would get...

My brother and I had such a lovely time at Barony House. The breakfast catered to all tastes. Susan's homemade bread and pancakes were fantastic. Our room was lovely clean and with a great view of Arthur's Seat too! Paul was very informative and charming as well! We will be back!

The problem I had was every room was perfect! In the end I could not choose and I picked a ground floor room with easy access...

My first ever visit to Edinburgh and Barony House both of which came highly recommended. Neither disappointed. Standing in front of Barony House was a joy, a lovely Victorian house and lovely Christmas decorations outside and in. Our room was excellent with high ceilings, beautiful decoration in keeping with its history. Our hosts could not have been better, their hospitality...

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with what you should do with your time in beautiful Edinburgh. The location is ideal as busses run into town right across the street. The breakfast was one of the highlights with fresh baked breads and meaningful buffet. Thank you!
