We've stayed at Kingsway twice now, once in the summer of 2014 and once for New Year's/Hogmanay 2017. Both stays were great, with comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms, a great breakfast room, really nice breakfast food and wonderful hosts, Lizzie and Gary. They are great people running a great B&B. We obviously have gone back, and I wouldn't hesitate to return...

Kingsway Guest House offers excellent value for money in our opinion and we were very happy to have stayed here. You get so much more for your money than most competitors and to get anything better you would be paying significantly more. Location: 1 mile south of centre on quiet side street. So walk for 20 minutes or get a...

Very friendly proprietors, good room with good facilities and excellent breakfast - what more do you want? Centre of Edinburgh is easy and fast to reach with public transport and good local eating and drinking facilities.

Good location, town centre within walking distance or plenty of buses a short walk away. Very friendly and helpful. Lovely plentiful breakfast, with a special offered every day to choose from. Our room was clean and comfortable, very quiet. Good en suite facilities. Lots of options locally to eat in the evening.

Gary and Lizzie were very kind. They provided us with all the information we need about the city and taking the buses. The room was lovely and comfortable and cozy. We visited in November and the city was cold and it was great to come back to a nice warm room. The food was excellent. I would go back!

We just returned from our second visit to Edinburgh and booked Kingsway both times. We first stayed there during the Fringe festival in August 2015. This time, we were there in November 2016. Lizzie and Gary are welcoming, helpful and they make the best breakfast - always offering a daily special. They can recommend nearby restaurants and pubs and can...

The Kingsway Guest House is a very good B&B for visiting Edinburgh. Lizzie and Gary are lovely friendly hosts with good restaurant recommendations around. The house is a bit outside the city center but perfectly connected by bus and quite. You can walk in the city center 25 minutes or by bus 10 minutes. Nice area with a lot of...
