Location is fantastic. Easy walk to Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street. In fact to everywhere. There's a supermarket just nearby. The apartment even came with a welcome basket of cereals, spreads and a loaf of bread. The fridge has milk and juices. Really thoughtful. Space wise was very comfortable. 2 bathrooms in our 3 bedroom apartment. But the shower area...

We spent just over a week. The staff was friendly and helpful. The apartments were clean and very close to everything in the City. The facility was clean and neat. Rooms were serviced daily and fairly well although it was hit and miss as to whether they replenished our coffee and toiletries. Front desk was always helpful with getting those...

We stayed here in April as part of a family trip around Scotland. We were only here for one night but were greatly impressed by the friendly staff who couldn't do enough to make our stay easier. We were transitioning from a hire car to train travel with a 3 month old baby, so we had plenty of baggage to...

We were greeted by Chris the manager and he took us personally to our apartment. When we were shown the apartment it was very, very nice and it had a lovely homely feel to it, as well as being spotlessly clean .The furnishings and bedding were of high quality and we had a fully fitted modern kitchen .A nice touch...

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in industrial Britain had their most desirable neighborhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes. Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along the district’s busy main roads. Lothian Road connects to southern Edinburgh and harbors a vague entertainment district: three theaters and the city’s main indie cinema. All attract a select crowd, the sort who appreciate the Saturday Edinburgh’s Farmers’ Market around the corner. The West End’s other great thoroughfare, Shandwick Place, is dominated by trams trundling out to the suburbs and airport, and shoppers picking up last-minute items before hopping aboard.
