We had a lovely visit at the bonham. We came to Scotland for our honeymoon and this was the first of the four hotels we stayed at. The staff were so kind and welcoming. Out of all of the hotels we stayed at, the breakfast here was by far the best! Thank you for making our stay special.

We recently visited as part of a wedding Party. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, we stayed on the lower floor which was very quiet and easy access to reception and the restaurant and bar areas. there was a little noise when furniture was being set up in the rooms above us for special events but did not disturb us too much. There was some very special touches in the room, fresh milk in the fridge, lovely large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel (which you could purchase for £15 a bottle on your departure if required), bathrobes and slippers in room, tea of various sorts, instant coffee as well as ground coffee with a Cafetiere to make the coffee in, with both mugs and cups provided. It was little details like that that made the stay so special. The wedding we attended was also very well organised and a credit to the staff for the fantastic service to make the wedding the special day it was. I was travelling with my elderly parents and the staff were excellent with both of them, even when my Dad had an accident and cut his wrist. They cleaned and covered the injury and regularly asked if he was ok, which a very nice touch Cannot wait to return to this hotel in August. We have visited quite a lot of hotels in our years of travelling but this one has gone to to the top of our list for Best hotel stays Well done and thank you to all the hotel team.

The Bonham is an upscale hotel located in old building in a quiet part of Edinburgh. The street is more residential and some upscale offices (think financial management companies, architects) yet it's close to the heart of town. The rooms are large, with that old time feel, and have lots of amenities from a small fridge to coffee and tea making essential. Bathroom is large with bathrobes and good hot water. I love that they don't have small bottles as they are doing things to be eco-friendly. The bed was definitely very comfortable! The restaurant is good with some good food and attentive staff. Same with the bar. Good selection of whiskies! Wide array of choices for breakfast as well. It really is a first class accommodation and worthy of the splurge. I personally can't wait to go back. And, as a travel agent, I will definitely book clients here.
