Loved the traditional decor gave us the feeling of staying in a stately home. Particularly enjoyed the old paintings beautifully lit and displayed. The service by the staff was exemplary and friendly creating an atmosphere of caring.

We really enjoyed this small well run hotel in a lovely and convenient part of Edinburgh. Extremely quiet and relaxing I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to walk to all the sites but still feel as if you are in a secret corner of the city. The room and bathroom are very clean and all amenities available. I especially appreciated full size bath products that added to the luxurious experience. We enjoyed walking to the Water of Leith Walkway and then onto Stockbridge with its many individual shops and cafes. We also visited the Modern Art Museum in the other direction. Walking to the more famous sites was convenient and enjoyable. A perfect location!

Spent the weekend at The Bonham for my husbands 50th Birthday. Enjoyed a beautiful afternoon tea and lovely prosecco in the lounge. Staff were great and very helpful. Breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Can't wait to stop there again.
