Stayed 2 nights for anniversary , check in was quick and apart from the overpriced car parking charge we were excited to stay , the room was fine , it had a nice view through the smeared windows ,, booking into spa pool was a nightmare as all slots booked , managed to get one spot for 45 mins , then trying to book into the bar was a no go , I understand the COVID rules but residents not being able to book a drink at the bar was not good , icing on the cake was being phoned at 8.15 pm on a Saturday night and being told to be quiet .. we were not partying ,, we are 59 and 64 .. we were actually discussing wedding arrangements with our daughter , before this call we had tried to call room service for over an hour to order food .. no answer or recorded message .. where were you all ? We requested some wine during the call and it was duly delivered 1 hour later .. again where were you ? The wine remained unopened .. truly disappointed with my stay feel like we paid a lot of money for very little service .. your bad . Breakfast was lovely and staff were polite and helpful but overall an expensive stay .. you must do better .. get those calls answered .. if you can’t serve us in the bar room service should be top priority . Ps air con out of date and noisy ,, time for a refurb I think

I stayed in room 740 from 15/05 to 16/05 and I would never stay here again - even if it was free. I’m a fairly high Bonvoy member staying in Marriott hotels globally and this is by far the worst. - On check in, the front desk manager was more interested in playing with a mobile than checking me in but I didn’t say anything. - Nobody answered my request for a dental kit and I was running late for a meeting, nobody answered the phone, eventually it went to voicemail I tried for 20 minutes before I got somebody. Tried on 0 and tried on the room service button and Bonvoy app. What if it was an emergency? As soon as I did get somebody then it was delivered very quickly - see photo. - One the fresh bath towels is covered in poo stains - especially at the corners - absolutely disgusting - see photo. - There’s a leftover boots bag and plastic wrapping in the room from the last person who stayed here - see photo. - Theres a thick layer of dust on the lamps which obviously haven’t been cleaned for some time, great given we’re slap bang in the middle of a COVID19 pandemic that’s just great! Not that you guys care much anyway because there’s no hand sanitizer left at most of the stations! This place is an absolute joke and i will never stay here again and I’m only halfway through my stay - I stall have tomorrow to go but my mind is already made up! It’s 6:56pm and I thought about calling down to the front desk and asking for a manager before I post this review so I could complain but nobody answers and it just goes to voicemail “The party you are trying to reach is not available, please leave a message”! This is supposed to be the front desk! 7:07pm Spoke to the same front desk manager who checked me in and I declined to move rooms because I’ve unpacked all my clothes and setup my computer station.

Dear jaasond34, Thank you for your honest feedback regarding your recent stay. I am deeply saddened that we fell short on meeting your expectations and on this occasion were unable to provide you with the 5 star service we are so proud to offer our guests. I appreciate you taking the time to meet with me upon departure to go over your experience and hope we will be able to welcome you back in the not too distant future. Warm regards, Lena
