Staff were nice and helpful, but day prior and day of I were unable to get someone to answer phone. When I arrived i had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come open door. The room was cute and clean but around 0300 all I could hear were people in the pub. Then at 0400 I woke to the... More

We picked this spot for our last night in Scotland and were not disappointed! Lovely room with sea view. We couldn't stay for breakfast, sadly, but she made us take away lunches. We had lovely strolls along the beach, found a great pub with live music, had an ok dinner at a restaurant nearby and then came back to the... More

Just picked this place at random. Happily surprised. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Fantastic view from our room of North Sea. Staff & breakfast was also very good. Pub was also a good place to have a beer and talk some with people from the neighborhood. We elected to stay additional days and then drove up to Inverness... More

Accommodations are very comfortable, although I had reservations about not having a ensuite bath the first night. No problem though. The Pub... More

I stayed here for two nights over the August 2013 Edingburgh Festival. it was very comfortable and very clean and a very reasonable price. All the staff there are very nice and friendly. There is a fun pub downstairs and a few other local pubs just up portobello road. The location is a bit off the beaten path from central... More

When we drew up outside the hotel we were originally disappointed as it looks less than good (could do with a tidy up out the front of the main building). Getting past this we were more than pleasantly surprised by the comfort and standard of our room. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was a good size, the bathroom... More
