We spent a memorable 3 nights with Sue at Brunton Place. The Garden Room was spectacular and design and ambiance very pleasant. breakfast is a treat with fresh fruits and a full cooked option. lots of good touring and shopping tips. We would stay again for sure.

We stayed three nights in this lovely guest house. The accommodations and breakfasts were wonderful. Our host, Sue, was delightful and gave us good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. (We would recommend Asti on Broughton Street). Calton Hill -- with its fantastic view over the whole city -- is a short walk away. Cross the Royal Terrace Gardens across the... More

I stayed here for two nights with my family. The rooms and premises are meticulously maintained, to a level that rivals five star hotels in my experience. I found that even my sheets were changed to fresh ones after one night. The owner/manager, Sue, is the loveliest person. She makes the breakfast muffins and cakes herself, and the breakfast is... We stayed here 3 nights and loved it. The room was comfortable looking out on the garden, and the bed was very comfortable. Sue looked after us so well, from delicious breakfasts to advice on where to eat. The location was just a few minutes walk from the east end of Princes street and the end of the team line... More

We stayed at Six Brunton Place on a recent trip to Edinburgh. It is a charming, Old World Guest House with all the modern conveniences. Our room and "state of the art" bathroom was spacious and nicely appointed. Located within walking distance of all the Old Town attractions: Castle, Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace in a lovely neighborhood of townhouses. The... More

The B and B is very conveniently located at a short walk from the center of the city. It is small (4 rooms) and absolutely beautifully renovated with original features. Gorgeous. Interesting art work. The owner, Sue, is delightful. Friendly, helpful and produces tea/coffee and home made snacks on arrival. Breakfast was excellent with many, many options including vegetarian. Bathrooms very... More

We've visited Edinburgh before, but since we live in Durham, we hadn't considered an overnight trip . . . that is, until now. These US Expats are having to return to the US, so my wife and I wanted one final excursion to the beautiful city of Edinburgh (one of our UK favorites!). I admit that I chose Six Brunton,... More

Sue is the perfect host, and anything from the amenities in the room, her advice on local tours and restaurants, as well as the breakfast in the morning, is of outstanding quality and done with great attention to detail and real care for the guests.

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay the beginning of June at this lovely B & B. Our family nearly took over the entire B & B as we required 3 of the 4 rooms. We had the three rooms on the lower level. The rooms where all spotless with excellent updated bathrooms. The Garden Room is especially lovely with... More

Absolutely love this place!!. The hostess, Sue is the nicest most welcoming hostess we have ever encountered in a Bed and Breakfast. She has spared no expense at outfitting the rooms and bathrooms for comfort and convenience. The location is excellent. Her breakfasts are outstanding! We only stay here when in Edinburgh!
