We were back at the Broomhill for another high tea recently. It's great value for money, and we've never had a bad meal at it. The service is always really good, as is the food. My only criticism is that the place needs a good spring clean, but I appreciate they are maybe running the place on a tight budget.

Come here often for lunch. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Serving tasty, 'home cooking' style pub grub. Great value for money. Have also visited for dinner before too and enjoyed that too. Also offer great pensioner menu!

This is one of my local restaurants near the town centre. I recently visited with ny brother and Mum and we all had the cajun chicken which was absolutely delicious. They did not hold back on their portion size and it also came with chips on the side. Afterwards we all had a latte which again was lovely. My Mum...

As ever, the food was excellent, and could not be faulted. It looked as though a refurbishment was about to be started in the bar area, and unfortunately, nearly all the draught beers and cider etc. were off. The one that was left was not very good, although hopefully things will improve in the near future.

Dropped in, on a whim, on Sunday at around 5.00pm. We were offered a table in the bar, or across the hall in the dining room, the option we took. The Broomhill offers a traditional Scottish high tea, but, we chose to have just a main course - steak pie. The portions were huge, but piping hot and cooked to...
