Having read a few previous reviews and looking at some of the photos I was a bit apprehensive about staying here. The hotel is a lovely old building near the station and the shops. If u come in from the car park you arrive at the reception desk which is a little dated but the staff were quick and efficient... More

Had a good weekend stay in the hotel only downside was there was a wedding on the Saturday night and we could hear all the noise until it finished around 12/1. Other than that was a lovely weekend has everything you need and had friendly staff. Was lovely to sit and chill in the large bar area to where you... More

The hotel has welcoming staff in an atmosphere of a hotel about 50 years ago. This should not be a deterrent as the hotel is well maintained, and the rooms have character which makes the stay very enjoyable. Both Dinner and Breakfast provide an excellent menu, the latter even has 'smokies' which is a great delight. The latter dish is... More

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Old Victorian style building. Grand staircase at the front, with a poky reception area at the back. Very helpful staff in every area of the hotel. The room was large, and very clean. The bathroom looked recently updated and was very clean too. Furniture and fixtures were tired looking and need some attention... More

Very good breakfast, friendly staff. Comfortable bed, narrow bath, did not like the fixed shower head. Reception area drab. Exterior of the hotel is being renovated. I was in room 402 which has excellent views of the Tay and Tay bridge

What a great hotel. Really comfortable and friendly and great choice of beers and food available. Great for a weekend trip to a city that has been greatly rejuvenated. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the service was great. Good bedroom which was decorated well and very clean and tidy. Easy to use car park was also... More

Thankyou for your feedback and I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay, and that my staff made you so welcome. The Car Park is certainly an asset especially in the city centre. I look forward to welcoming you back in the future. More

I stayed recently with some friends whilst attending an event at the hotel. The BW Queen's Hotel is well located in Dundee and with plenty of free parking. Friendly welcome on arrival with very clean and comfortable room. The dinner in the hotel was very good indeed: excellent home-made Scotch Broth and the Roast Beef was really flavoursome. There was... More

Thankyou so much for your comments , and I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed your meal so much. It is also good to hear that the older waiter was particularly friendly as I think that is myself, so you must have got me on a good day. I look forward to welcoming you back in the future. More

I stayed alone at the Queens Hotel on business, visiting the University of Dundee which really couldn't be any closer - the hotel is a minute's walk from the campus and about 5-10 minutes from the train station. The hotel clearly has some history but the inside was generally fresh and up to date, though some areas were a little... More

Stayed here for a dinner with friends. Perfect location for city centre and able to park safely overnight. Great attention to detail. Food was excellent and staff really helpful. Rooms are clean and well presented. Obviously update rooms and our large bathroom would have justified a 5 star hotel. Will definitely be back
