A lovely renovated townhouse with great views down towards the river. The room was light and spacious and all facilities were perfect for our needs. A short walk (10-15mins) into Dundee city centre and plenty of bars and restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. Would definitely stay again!

very friendly welcome. made us feel at home. room could have been a little fresher but quite clean. views from front rooms are stunning down across the Tay- not so at back which looked on to houses. Freezing the afternoon we arrived so maybe could have had the heating on before. we thought it was quite pricy for a b... More

Conveniently located. Really nice room-spacious, clean and immaculate en-suite bathroom. Decent enough breakfast, but not lavish. And friendly and helpful owner. Only issue for me was the wi-fi was a bit slow in my room. Otherwise perfect for a short stay work trip to Dundee but would be happy to bring my young family here if we were visit the... More

Large stately home converted to hotel. The bedrooms are huge, with the majority having a view over the river. Situated on a main road, but this was not an issue. Bus stop located at the door step. Very little on site parking, but plenty of parking on the street. Breakfast is available if required. Close to cafes and hotels and... More

Initial impression good friendly welcome and lovely big room. Breakfast 1st morning good but menu quite limited. That was the last time we saw our hostess. Next morning she was absent all guests waiting for her appearance we waited and waited then started to worry. Police were called and our hostess appeared in what only can be described as off... The Australians told us that they had spoken with Heather at 8.00.pm the night before and that she seemed, healthy, sane and sober. There was another woman with her that they thought was a friend. We were seriously worried that Heather may have taken a further fall within her apartment was was now lying injured in there. After an hour... More

Our weekend (24-27th July) stay at The Grampian (part of our Rewind Festival 'wet wet wet' experience) was to have been 3 nights B&B (breakfast arranged on arrival for all 3 mornings) for our group of 6. That not quite how it turned out! We stayed 2 nnights and had 1 breakfast. I will not to go into specific details... More

By chance it was 12 months or so when I was last in this part of the Country, again delivering a car to Aberdeen. (66 miles away). I'd enjoyed my last stay at The Grampian, and as I was in in company with my Labrador dog, Harvey, I took the opportunity to revisit for an overnight stay, on my way... More

We arrived extremely tired after a 5a.m. start from London and sightseeing in Edinburgh and Heather offered us a welcoming pot of tea in her dining room with gorgeous views- very thoughtful. The family room was spacious and beautifully presented. My teenage daughter said it was the best B&B we had ever stayed in. It was spotless, quiet and everything... More
