We stayed here for our daughters graduation. We paid £196 for B&B for 2 nights 3 adults in a triple room. The prices were sjocking across the area as all hotels and guesthoses know its graduation time and cash in. Our room was a good size, airy and bright, the beds comfy enough and we had a decent night sleep.... More

Positives: friendly helpful host, good TV and WiFi. Beds okay though a bit short if you are over 6'. Affordable. Negatives, no hot water for sink (shower was okay once you figured it out). Some things like sink, shower, toilet were spotless, but much of the place was rather dirty. Visible ring of dirt at edge of carpet and around... More

The building is starting to date but is value for money. All areas were clean. Not sure about the other rooms but the beds in our room need to replaced, they were starting to show their age and were uncomfortable. The host was very friendly. The saving grace was breakfast, it was very good, well worth the extra money.

No hot water for a shower, room was absolutely freezing, plugs did not work correctly, beds not comfortable, curtains were too small for the windows and generally not worth the money!! Would never recommend this to anyone and certainly will not be visiting again!

What a great location. It's simple but nice and feels just like home. Lovely service on arrival and clean cosy rooms. With an amazing view of the harbour. Free Wifi and parking at the rear. Just a quick stroll across the road for dinner and really close to the town cetre

On first impressions, this place shouldn't have five stars. A bit of rot in an outside window frame and the air of being quite old and worn. But I'm giving it five stars for a few very good reasons. Firstly, it's cheap. £49 for a clean comfortable room is for nothing. There is free WiFi, a decent TV and unlike... More

Stayed here with other half as he's here on business. Bed is most uncomfortable. Creaks when you move. Could feel very single spring. At breakfast owner clearly saw I'm heavily pregnant and refused me breakfast as my partner didn't book the night before. Wouldn't even consider letting me eat anything. Even if I paid the £3. Every time I tried... More

I stayed with a friend for one night in a twin room. The host was very welcoming however the place requires some love and investment. On arrival I was slightly confused by the Christmas tree in the hall way, considering it was the end of feb! The room was a decent size and had a view of the garden however... More

the host was very nice and friendly on booking and checking in. However I feel the place is in need of some TLC. Stained carpets, doors and walls which didn't leave a very good impression. My room was fine, but again pretty grotty. I had to look at one clean corner while showering as the rest had grime on it.... More
