The twin room we stayed in was huge. It had two heaters, a cupboard and a dresser. The beds were nice. No TV thought but there is a seperate TV room. The kitchen is fulls stocked and we had space in the fridge. I would recommend this place. However, the WiFi in the room was poor and is only available... More

The hostel is in ideal location, right in the middle of city centre and the entrance is tucked in between two stores. Walking distance from train, bus, museum, McManus. It's converted from an old building and all around are pictures of what there was before. The interior is very nice. I stayed in an ensuite room which was spacious enough.... More

Ordered a single room, was given one with two beds for £22. I just stayed the one night, but the room had a kettle, some tea and a sink which was very much appreciated. Access to a large kitchen facility was also available. I had a shared bathroom, but it was as clean as it was possible to be. I... More

An ancient building turned into a modern hostel. Lots of space to spend your evening - alone or with friends. Excellent service. Towel hire for Eur1. I can't believe I stayed in a room where another tenant lived hundred years ago in the so called tenements.

I spent 2 nights in a 8-beds dorm in August. I have been lucky with my roommates as well, as they were all pretty silent and respectful - and nobody snored :) The building is very nice and it has been recently renewed. it seems like a maze, but there are direction signals all over. nice common rooms and kitchen.... we only stayed here for a night but everything was very pleasant and clean. Sadly there were no lockers in our dorm but it wasn't an issue for us as we were only staying one night and were allowed to leave our bags behind the reception. The showers next to our room were broken but we could use other ones... More

My mother booked a twin room for us with an ensuite as it said on the website as she has mobility issues. We arrived to then have to go to the very top floor, which is two small set of steps to the nearest bathroom to be greeted with very old dingy room with creaky bunkbeds and a view of... More

After an abysmal booking experience with Hostelworld, I have to admit that I came with low expectations, as just changing my check in date became a stressful experience. Thankfully the attitude of a 3rd party booking company has no bearing on the hostel itself, who were warm, accommodating and friendly. Arriving on the sleeper train, they kindly arranged for someone... More

Perfect location; surrounded by places to eat, shop, and close to the train station as well as numerous bus stops. Walkable distance from Discovery Point, Verdant Works, and the McManus museum. A little bit further to Dundee Law but a doable walk if you're fit. Staff are friendly and the entire place was neat and tidy. Lots of narrow steps... More
