My husband and l booked this hostel at the last minute and couldn't get a double bedroom but got a twin instead. We weren't too sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Ideal location (we had everything on our doorstep), security entry (which is reassuring given that it's in the centre of Dundee), reception area was very tidy... More

Excellent! (1) Excellent location in city centre. Just 5 mins walk to the tourist information centre. (2) Well-decorated with good facilities. (2) I stayed in a twin bedroom. The beds were comfortable and clean. The room was spacious and tidy. (3) Though I shared the bathroom and toilet with other people, it was clean. Everything worked well. Very good. However,... More

We booked a double room en suite. Check in was swift and easy. A £5 deposit for your key card and off we headed up the stairs........a lot of stairs with no lift but it was worth the hike. We were in Room 31 at the top of the building. Our room was large and comfortable with a large en... More

I loved the room, light and with a super high ceiling. The bed was OK too. Our room had no lockers for backpacks or valuables, but we also never felt any need for one as the place as a whole felt very safe and calm. I loved that there were many different rooms to hang out in! Besides the kitchen... More

Great place. Would definitely recommend. Pros: - Great location - Very cool and cute: lots of stairs and rooms all over the place. Kinda labyrinthine but it had signs everywhere so no risk of getting lost - The reading room! Beautiful book cupboard where you could borrow books. - Bedroom was big and high-ceilinged and had large, beautiful windows. Beds... More

What a great hostel nice and clean and well run I thought it might be a bit wild but it was a great atmosphere and bang in the centre of Dundee at a great price!! It's not got all the hotel bits but for a base camp it's perfect!!! My only missing thing was no blind in the bedroom so... More

The twin room we stayed in was huge. It had two heaters, a cupboard and a dresser. The beds were nice. No TV thought but there is a seperate TV room. The kitchen is fulls stocked and we had space in the fridge. I would recommend this place. However, the WiFi in the room was poor and is only available... More

The hostel is in ideal location, right in the middle of city centre and the entrance is tucked in between two stores. Walking distance from train, bus, museum, McManus. It's converted from an old building and all around are pictures of what there was before. The interior is very nice. I stayed in an ensuite room which was spacious enough.... More

Ordered a single room, was given one with two beds for £22. I just stayed the one night, but the room had a kettle, some tea and a sink which was very much appreciated. Access to a large kitchen facility was also available. I had a shared bathroom, but it was as clean as it was possible to be. I... More

An ancient building turned into a modern hostel. Lots of space to spend your evening - alone or with friends. Excellent service. Towel hire for Eur1. I can't believe I stayed in a room where another tenant lived hundred years ago in the so called tenements.
