Looking for somewhere new to go for dinner, me and my partner decided to go to Forbes of Kingennie for the night. Even though the winter weather had arrived the front of house was warm and welcoming. Nice varied menu, and I decided on the roast chicken stuffed with Stornaway black pudding and my boyfriend went for the beef burger....

We stayed three nights in a lovely lodge overlooking the fishing pond. Great for dogs - good walking country. Nice bar. Did not try restaurant as did all our own cooking. Nice golf course only 9 holes but even has a par 5. Would love to return in the summer months.

This was our third visit to Kingennie and the second time in lodge Glen Lyon. We love staying at Kingennie. It is close by to where we used to live, so being in such a spacious well equipped lodge we can entertain whilst there. Also it is marvellous to be able to bring our dogs to such a luxurious place!...

We stayed in The Lodge from the 14th to the 18th of November, this was our first visit and we were most impressed with the lodge. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean with the bonus of the wood burning stove in the living room. We ate in the bar a couple of times and felt the food was good value...

Hello, Thanks for reviewing your stay with us. The wood burning stoves definitely help keep the cold winter weather at bay, we tend to have the central wood burner in the bar roaring too! We look forward to welcoming you back- fishing gear and all! With thanks, Kingennie Management Team

These premises are conveniently situated to provide for a post-funeral reception to the nearby Pitkerro Grove Cemetery. There was quite a number attending and everything had been well planned. The plentiful supply of cakes, etc. was well presented on (possibly) 20 tables of eight. The well-presented staff were very attentive but unobtrusive, carrying out their duties with care. I would...
