My daughter and I stayed here for two nights whilst she was competing in sailing competition at the nearby St Mary's Loch. Carol was very welcoming and an excellent cooked veggie breakfast kept us fueled up for sailing and walking. Quiet location and clean, comfortable bedrooms made for good night's sleep. The views of hills from top floor bedrooms are... More

My wife and I stopped for a night in this friendly and welcoming guest house to break the journey from the Isle of Skye to our home in Norfolk. The owner Carol made some suggestions for dinner and although we couldn't get a table at the recommended Italian restaurant we did have an exceptionaly good Indian meal close by. My... More

We stopped here for a night en route from the South to the West Coast. We could not recommend this lovely place more highly. Carol was very welcoming and is the perfect hostess. The 2 rooms we had were clean and well equipped, and the four poster room was splendid. The bathroom in the smaller room was a little small... More

Stayed here a fortnight ago. Chosen on the basis of good reviews, quiet location, and adequate parking. Met by the delightful Carol and shown to a very clean, top floor twin-bedded room with a good view of the surrounding countryside. The town centre is a simple 10 minute stroll down a gentle slope. (Adequate street lighting on the way back.)... More

A wonderful place to stay. Carol could not have been more helpful and friendly. The location in Well Road is quite and peaceful. You can walk a mile up to the top of the road where the well, which made Moffat famous,is situated. A lovely place to stay. 5 star recommend.

This was the perfect place to stay to break the journey south. We were made most welcome, and were given good advice about places to eat. We chose a smaller room, but it was more than adequate for an overnight stay. First class.

Stayed at Bridge House for one night whilst attending a local wedding. Received a lovely welcome from Carol who was kind enough to arrange a taxi for us to the wedding venue.
