Met up with our son at this establishment for something to eat one evening. The staff very pleasant the food very good, the acoustics were a bit uncomfortable with no soft furnishing to deaden the sound
Stopped in here with my partner and in laws for a quick drink before heading somewhere else for dinner. Was subjected to staggering levels of rudeness and ignorance from the second we crossed the threshold. Whoever owns/runs this establishment should be ashamed that their staff...More

If I was allowed to draw a picture of a man standing in the corner having a primal scream and pulling out tufts of hair I would post it here. It would be hard to believe that any small country hotel does more...More

Hi MasonH25 ... sadly we don't have any ground floor rooms at all. The only areas that are accessible from street level are our function room and toilets approached from the side of the hotel. The main entrance to the hotel and restaurant, and indeed all the rest of the hotel, are accessible by a minimum of about 8 steps with the bedrooms up another flight to the first floor. However, we do have strapping lads who are always available to give a helping hand where needed ... it's been the result of much hilarity in the past and we really don't mind.
