We got married here and it was amazing. We stayed in the Rose suite and it was stunning.The staff were so helpful the wedding planners were amazing and nothing was to much trouble. The food was out of this world.

Yes I believe Smiths hotel was built on the old Lovers Leap Lodge site. I have found an aerial picture of the old site ( go to - viewdumfriesandgalloway search , lovers leap and see photo ) and looks the be the same site. We have stayed at Smiths a few times and looking at the picture I’m confident it’s the same site. Hope this helps. Ian&Di
