It's a sad fact that good, traditional pubs in the U.K. are a dying breed and are being superseded by the ubiquitous Wetherspoons type of bar. We stayed here on our journey north joining up the Pennine way with the West Highland Way. The two man team at the Neidpath Inn offered us excellent hospitality. There were real ales on sale in the bar and the rooms above the pub were spotlessly clean with well appointed fittings and comfortable beds.

We enjoyed our one night stay here on our way to Edinburgh on c2c cycling weekend. This place hsve got bike wash facilities and secured sheds. What else do you need!!! The breakfast was a bit of disaster though but we understood that they were short on staff on that day

We stayed here for just one night but were made very welcome despite being soaking following a wet afternoon in the saddle. The Landlord made sure our bikes were safely stored in their outdoor cycle storage boxes before showing us to our room and offering to help dry our clothes. The food is standard pub grub but very tasty. Good...

Stayed for one night for work. Really can't complain. My room was basic but very clean and in fairness more than I'd expect for £40p/n Close to a few takeaways if that's your thing and close to a supermarket. Sky to with sports etc, massive shower and a very nice chap who booked me in. No real gripes. I'd stay...

Great B&B at a good price. Cheaper and better than those in the town ( in my opinion. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast well worth it. The pub itself has good beers, friendly and welcoming Minutes from Peebles town centre. Will use again when in the area
