It has been a couple of years since we visited this hotel but the changes are remarkable. All the bedrooms have been upgraded to a good standard and the beds were very comfortable. The Ballroom and Bar are beautiful, new furniture and fittings brings it to life. The hallways are very tired but apparently are due to be updated shortly.... More

Enjoyed our stay but as usual for a Shearings hotel looking tired. We had room 22 which was at the rear and was quiet. But as another review has already said about this room it is shabby. Whoever has redesigned this room has not stopped in a hotel. We paid extra for this so called updated room. Not really worth... More
