What a wonderful place to stay. Tucked away, nestling by a stream and croquet on the lawn with a glass of chilled wine - sublime. Very tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable. Shiela is a charming and very helpful hostess. We are already planning our next trip up here.

We were very well looked after by the lovely Sheila. Bed/room and breakfast faultless, superb scenery and setting - we would love to come back. Nothing was too much trouble: we arrived a bit later than we had hoped but Sheila was very understanding.

We stopped at Wiltonburn Farm B&B for 3 nights in the family room. The room was a good size with a small en-suite separate toilet and shower. The bedroom area therefore providing plenty of room for luggage. We both thought that the mattress was not very supportive, although this did not spoil our stay. The breakfast was nice. The farm...

Stayed here for one night, very nice B&B comfortable bed very warm in our room which was lovely as we were freezing. Plenty of tea coffee and hot chocolate left out for us as well as biscuits. Breakfast in the morning was nice. Sheila couldn't have been more helpful ordering us a taxi when we needed it and telling us...

Let's be a little bit negative to begin with, and then I'll get to the positives... The shower in the family room is a bit small, and I do accept that I'm not exactly little but it still felt a bit of a squeeze. The room doesn't have a bath, which depending on the age of any children "might" be...

Dear Alfred, I do hope you and your family are all well. Please forgive me for not replying to your very detailed and honest review. I am just coming to grips with trip advisor - as I am a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to technology! However thank you so much for taking time to give me such...

A lovely historic farmhouse, charmingly decorated. Beautiful scenery and lots of sheep, but very quiet. We had a double family room (1 double bed, and two singles). Very close to Abbotsford and Melrose Abbey.

I stayed at Wiltonburn at very short notice and what a good choice I made. I was able to feel comfortable and looked after, a true home away from home. My room was nicely decorated, furnished and unquestionably clean. The entire house gives a warm family feel but is not oppressive. Breakfast included is a real treat. The farm has...

Sheila was very welcoming and helpful, suggesting and booking a table for dinner (despite it being difficult as it were a Sunday). Great room and area Only minor issue was a dirty shower head. Great weather too.

This is the secnd time I have visited Wiltonburn and I hope to return in the future. Shiela is an attentive host and very friendly. The farm is lovely and the rooms beautiful. Hawick is a 2 mile walk away which is very pleasant if you go via the park. I am very fond of Hawick and this B&B and...

“The family room (well it's actually two rooms) is great if you have kids.”

“The family room is lovely. A double and single in one room with a doorway to the other single and the WC and shower. These small but functional. Sheila showed me the other rooms. A lovely Double, beautifully decorated, a separate bathroom bathroom but this is not a privacy issue in this farmhouse. There is an additional twin room with separate bathroom which again is beautifully decorated. Very quiet location. Easy to find as well signposted. Good access to the Borders.”
