I stayed here in October 2012 when I was up in Hawick for an interview and got a very nice sleep. Great location and friendly service. Thanks for the tips Janet. I would happily stay here again and recommend that peopl visit the area to see how nice the countryside and scenery is around here

Thanks for the great review Andy, and all of your positive comments! It was brilliant to meet you all and to offer you some home comforts after your 'outside' day. Hope the next day went well and you all arrived home safely.

Well, where do I start, is it the most welcoming environment, cosy and warm yet uncluttered and stylish? The wonderful food and great choice or simply the comfort of the bedrooms and the great en suite facilities.... Spoiled for choice in this review of a wonderful B&B in the heart of the Scottish Borders with views to ponder upon and...

Hassendean B&B is really excellent. It is very clean, has great idyllic views and has a very warm homely feel to it. Janet and Les run the B&B with great pride. They are very friendly and helpful. There are large collections of books and DVDs which we can't get enough of. We will definitely return to Hassendean B&B again and...

I stayed at Hassendean on Thursday 18th October with my 20month old daughter. The property is in a really beautiful location and very well presented. I had booked as single occupancy but we were given a beautiful double room and Janet had also very kindly set up a lovely travel cot for Joni. The room was immaculately clean, warm and...

She and Les are very welcoming, ensuring we were comfortable and all set. The room was very comfortable and clean. We were provided with extra mattress for the floor which was great. The information/welcome folder was the most comprehensive we...

Our double room was very cosy, the ensuite was very nice, and breakfast was delicious. Having a tv & dvd player was a particularly nice idea; especially considering the cupboard stuffed full of DVDs for us to borrow located on the landing. I also really liked the intricate 3d motorbike jigsaw puzzle. It was a good b&b with some thoughtful...

Hassendean B&B was our first stop on our travels in Scotland and what a welcome to the land of the brave it was. The accommodation was fantastic, the service excellent and the food was great. Provided you are happy to be in a rural setting then Hassendean would be a great place to stay. Janet & Les are a great...
