We spent two nights and our stay was great. We arrived very late at night because of the traffic and they kindly waited and received us at the door. They also prepared us a packed lunch because we were setting off very early the first morning. Room a bit small but cosy and nicely refurbished. Amazing and fulfilling breakfast! Very...

We stayed with Wendy and Hugh for three nights whilst we toured the islands in search of basking sharks. Wendy and Hugh are great hosts, friendly, accommodating and helpful. Our room was clean and had a great view out over Oban - which is lovely, at least to look at. Though compact, the room had everything we needed, including a...

We booked into the glenroy for an overnight stay after being glamping for a week. Hugh and wendy gave us a warm and friendly welcome. Room was spotlessly tidy as was the rest of the guest house. Lovely wee extras like hot chocolate, biscuits, tissues, cotton buds, cotton wool and not forgetting the binoculars. Breakfast was excellent. Will definitely be...

We staying for one night on our way to Mull. Hugh & Wendy are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The room was lovely & spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, with the added extra of watching 'Quail-cam' a camera showing their quail chicks. We'd definitely recommend Glenroy to all.

Our hosts Hugh and Wendy were very friendly and informative. We stayed in Room 3 which was spacious with a lovely bay window and expansive views over the town. We had a very enjoyable breakfast. It was good to have off street parking. It is an easy quick walk down to the centre of town and a slightly slower one...

Oban is a beautiful town and area, we stayed at Glen Roy B&B and were very well looked after by Hugh & Wendy. The rooms are very well appointed and very comfortable beds. It's a short walk down to the town, but of course coming back up is a bit strenuous. Wonderful breakfast. Our only comment though is our room...

This B&B was my choice for a place to stay before heading out for the Outer Hebrides, and what a perfect choice it was. I was greeted warmly by Wendy and her husband Hugh who showed me to my small but spotless room on the third floor. Within a few minutes of settling in, they had me booked at a...

Hugh and Wendy offered us a very warm welcome. They offered helpful local advice and even helped us book onto the Oban Distillery tour in the nick of time! The room was clean, tidy, modern and characterful and the bed was exceedingly comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast, watching the birds on the feeder and the quail's nest via video link from...

Room small but comfortable, bathroom very small but we made it work. Hosts were very friendly and very helpful, served an excellent breakfast. Nicely located, short but steep walk to home. You'll get your aerobics to get up that hill!

This is a small B&B on the hill above the town center. A windy road leads up to the house. A charming couple runs the Glenroy Guest House. We had a small room (room 5) at the third floor. A narrow staircase leads up to the room. It had a toilet & shower in a "closet". We will definitely stay...
