We booked Glenburnie House on the basis of a recommendation. It exceeded our expectations. The house is operated with a generous spirit which makes one feel like a very welcome guest. The house is imposing, sited on the Esplanade within easy strolling distance of the town centre. It has its own parking and there is parking immediately across the road.... More

Called ahead for a reservation and so glad we did as they were full when we arrived. We somehow got the 2nd floor room with the killer view of the harbor. It was a very nice room in a great location--enjoyed walking to everything. The breakfast in the lovely breakfast room was also quite nice and we thought £45/person was... More

From the moment we arrived right through to when we left, we were made to feel extremely welcome by everyone at Glenburnie. Everything about this place is top notch. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, spacious and we were fortunate enough to have a front facing room with a fantastic view across the bay. The breakfast was fantastic, with local produce... We managed to secure a last minute booking for Glenburnie House Hotel after reading the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed and were utterly charmed! Susie, Graeme and their "staff family" are quite simply the nicest people you could meet, and it was like spending a night in the delightful home of lovely friends. We even met... More

Graham has a great sense of humor and was very accommodating. The home sits in a row of old stone buildings that have been turned into B&Bs. All had vacancy signs except the Glenburnie.... It was full. The rooms are immaculate and well appointed. Parking is out in front and adequate. Graham and his partner have been in the hospitality... More

Spent two nights at Glenburnie House #11. I understand why it is #1. Our room faced the waterfront and was spacious. We had no problems getting WiFi in the room. We had a king size bed. They have a very nice lounge on the ground floor. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good. They had a traditional Scottish breakfast... More

Everyone is so nice and willing to help or go that little bit extra. I can't say enough good things about the place. The rooms are so comfy and spacious as well as spotless. The breakfast is always fresh and they don't like you leaving on an empty stomach!! The views from Room 9 are just wonderful regardless of the... More

My husband and I stayed at Glenburnie House and it was one of our favourite stays on our honeymoon. One of the best parts was breakfast. You eat in this beautiful room with a big bay window that looks out over Oban's waterfront, the food is delicious (they had fresh fruit salads, yoghurt with figs and honey, cereals and hot... More
