A really lovely B&B. A great location near to town centre. George is a great chap, informative and funny. The range for breakfast was just wonderful. Our room was quirky and spotlessly clean. Ideal for a one night stay!

We stayed for one night on our way to Mull. The room was nice and comfy, very clean and featured tea and coffee making facilities. Unfirtunately there's no private parking space and this can be an issue. I can't review breakfast ad we left early to catch our Ferry. It would have been nice to be offered a packed breakfast......but... More

Host was a jolly happy fellow past retirement, he greeted us and told us where to park, as parking around the area is quiet easy but without explaining, it can be hard. Oban is a small waterfront town so from the area where Lagganbeg resides to the city center is a mere 10 minute walk (or less). The whole area... More

Quirky little place in a great location. Didn't miss the full English as there was plenty of choice on offer. Distillery tour recommended as you get an engraved glass to take home. Would definately return.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We parked outside at first and we were advised to park further up in a long stay car park which is £1 per hour between 9am and 6pm. The room reflects the feeling of the seaside which despite being on a main road, it does appear tranquil and makes you feel nearer to the... More

The room was small, but ok. However it overlooked the main road into Oban so the traffic noise was awful - particularly as the window needed to be left open due to the very warm weather. We had a terrible night's sleep as a result. Breakfast was fine - particularly the scrambled eggs!

We pre-booked a one night stay en-route home from a long trip beginning in Orkney and finishing in North Wales. We were tired and had mixed experiences of several hotels etc over the 2 weeks. I was welcomed by George who I found friendly and welcoming. We were in the attic room which we enjoyed despite the heat of the... More

There wasn't a thing that these lovely people hadn't thought of- local map, large mugs for cuppas (yay), extensive selection of cereals for brekky (very tasty granola) and such warm friendly advice about the town and its surrounds. Felt like we were staying with our own family, he was so cheery and chatty :)

Guesthouse is conveniently located walking distance to everything. We used free parking behind the cathedral and did not need our car again until leaving. There is ample room to park for a few minutes for loading and unloading luggage before moving car to free parking. The owners were very pleasant with lots of tips for things to see and do.... More

The location, though central, is a fairly busy main road. Parking at a public car park 200 yards away is £1/hour from 9.00 am. The room was small and we thought the bathroom could have been cleaner. The breakfasts were rather unappetising from a limited menu. The information says "continental breakfast" which to us means croissants, pains au chocolat, not... More
