Had a friend over from South Africa, and we stayed at The Old Rectory, it was just fab. Cathie was so was friendly and welcoming, and the entrance hall is just beautiful. The room was just perfect, so clean and comfortable, with every thing you need for a perfect stay, including an amazing view, my friend was just delighted. Then...

I stayed for one night last week. The Old Rectory is simply a stunning building and the bedrooms and luxurious with exceptionally comfortable beds and excellent tea and coffee facilities. I was thoroughly looked after - despite not requested breakfast as I was leaving at first light to take photographs I was brought some toast and fresh milk to my...

My husband and I came into Inverary late at night. Much to our surprise, many of the hotels were already booked so we stopped at a pub with WiFi and found The Old Rectory. I'm so glad we did! The owner has been working hard to make updates and recently re-opened. The home is simply beautiful and our room was...

I stayed 2 nights in August. The room was large and with a fantastic en suite bathroom both having been newly refurbished. The view over the loch was fantastic and, with the window open, I could hear the water lapping on the shore. I had a very warm welcome and a hearty breakfast. A large Grade 2 listed building. I...

It is fantastic to see this B and B has re-opened its doors, (friends stayed there) fully re-decorated room, fantastic breakfast, wonderful loch views, private parking and lovely friendly land lady, they would recommend this B and B to anyone visiting Inveraray, only a short walk for the Main Street.

Badly signposted car parking and very run down garden was a worry after a long drive. The room was clean but freezing cold - after 3 complaints they finally got a plumber out to fix the radiator. Bizarre black furniture so like sleeping in a morgue with an uncomfortable bed - no toiletries in the en suite bathroom which at...

I stayed at The Old Rectory during a recent visit to Inveraray. Ruth and Cathie were so very welcoming and couldn't possibly have made my stay any better. The foyer and staircase as you walk in the front door are so charming. I stayed in a twin room on the first floor as I was travelling alone. It was the...

Apparently this B&B was being managed by someone new and this had changed recently before our stay. Although the "no vacancy" sign was put up when we arrived we were the only two couples and the rest of the place was empty for our two night stay, so the place was like a ghost town. The women managing the place...

The hostess of the Old Rectory took us in when we had nowhere else to turn and gave us the warmest welcome. It really is very well run BnB that me and my friends definitely will revisit if we ever have the chance!
