From the moment we arrived we had a very warm and welcoming reception and were shown to our rooms. The room was very well appointed and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable and the views from the back rooms of the coast and sea are fantastic. There is a lovely room downstairs to relax in - just as if...

I stayed for only one night but really enjoyed my stay. Nice room, very clean and well appointed. Great breakfast and lots of information about what to see and do in the area. Very close to the seafront and the golf course. Will definitely return.

You can't go wrong staying here, especially if you're a golfer. Great value for money. The hosts are incredibly helpful and the location is close to the Carnoustie courses and a short walk from the main steet. Plenty of on-site parking

The bathroom needed cleaning round the skirting board behind the door. It was thick with weeks of dust. It also needed some sort of shelf inside the shower to put your soaps/sponge etc on. The porridge was terrible just slops, and sweet which I cant stand. It should be made with salt.

We arrived at around 7pm looking rather bedraggled by the constant headwind we had for most of the day and met John at the door who was a great host. We inundated him with questions and requested some fresh milk for our tea making for which he obliged without any complaint. Stayed on the top floor in room 5 -...

Had a large room with a view of the North sea. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. There is a large parking area which is essential because Ireland street is filled with parked cars. The room was immaculate. Breakfast was traditional Scottish fare. My wife has Celiac Disease and the hostess had gone out of her way to buy...

Stayed here for one night with my mother and it was lovely and spacious. We were in the family room on the ground floor which was perfect for my mum as she uses a walking frame. Room was clean, tidy and had everything that you need ie. Hairdryer, shower gels etc. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding and very...

I stayed here last year with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and I cant fault the B&B at all. Lovely staff and lovely clean, comfortable rooms. We were made to feel very welcome and looked after with a nice breakfast in the morning. Would 100% recommend.

This is a good old fashion bed and breakfast that is not pretentious and does not try to be too fancy. I had one night here on my Scotland road trip and liked the simplicity if the place ... And is was great value for money too. Breakfast was good as well :-)

I'm certain that we had the best room in the facility, #6 on the top floor, as we had an outstanding view from the room as well as an ensuite bathroom that had a front window, resulting in a lovely bright room during the day. The room had a large comfortable bed, hospitality tray, complimentary bottles of water, and free...

“Anyone with even a slight impairment should take great care with using the stairs. Apart from all the times we stayed as a couple in Room 1, I booked a room for one night because I had a meeting in Dundee. However, room 1 was unavailable, so I thought that I might be able to manage the stairs just for 1 night. Unfortunately, the stairs are quite steep with a sharp turn and I fell down a number of steps and smashed into the wall at the turning. so, be very careful.”
