Poor information on arrival about hotel facilities and restrictions. Water bottle of a child of previous guest still in room. Was the room properly cleaned before our arrival? Room advertised was vastly different to room received. The food we had for dinner was sublime and probably the highlight of our stay.

Stayed one night in July. Room very spacious and clean. Bathroom also spacious and clean. Car parking on site. Staff very helpful and coped very well as it was only one week after lockdown. Lovely to walk round the golf course. Breakfast and evening meal good again under lockdown circumstances all very good. Would stay again

Stayed in the Dalhousie Suite with my dad for 2 nights. We were celebrating his 80th birthday with a 3 day golf break. The suite was fantastic with a double balcony overlooking the 18th green and 1st tee. Would highly recommend staying in this suite! Great service, great food and a great hotel! Very good value for money and we will definitely be back.

This was our second time at Carnoustie and I was slightly anxious that the experience may not be as good due to COVID restrictions - I had no need to worry. Before arrival we received a very informative e-mail about check in and COVID procedures which meant a more relaxed check in. There was hand sanitizer everywhere and the staff were polite, friendly and helpful during the whole stay. The rooms are clean and well stocked for our two night stay. We had a meal both nights and again no issues or concerns. Breakfast was the same and all the staff in the restaurant were attentive, polite and respectful. There was slight issues around the use of the swimming pool - more a miscommunication than anything very major. If you are using the pool best to book through the email you will receive. It didn’t spoil the visit. We had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to return.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming without exception. Everyone was trying their best to make our stay as good as it possibly could be. Our room was lovely, with a view of the sea. Dinner was excellent on both nights, with good quality food and very generous portions. The staff in the restaurant were delightful. Our room service breakfast arrived hot and was delicious. The Nespresso machine in our room was hugely appreciated and made a nice change to receiving a 'pot' of tepid coffee that you often get with room service. The pool was lovely and extremely well organised re Coronavirus. A big thank you to all the staff. We will be back!
