Booked a table and when we arrived, the door that advertises itself as disabled access was blocked by piles of boxes filled with tiles! When I asked if it could be moved got attitude from manager(lady with long dark hair) the owner who come over was not much help either! The whole experience ruined the food that was good &... More

It's motel-style accommodation. Comfortable bedding, bathroom had a bathtub and bath gel which was most welcome. Staff were friendly. Quiet area. We decided to have dinner there but the food was disappointing; overcooked burger with oily fries, and overcooked vegetables. Not very nice. By contrast, however, the breakfast was well-cooked and with a nice selection of hot and cold items;... More

After ringing round the hotels we stay at while working around Carnoustie to find they where all booked up, we knew of one that a lady we knew had gone to work at so we tried there. We found it an Excellent place to stay, my room was large very clean good bath/shower and very warm on those chilly Scottish... More

Business trip - Quality rooms, clean, very comfy and cosy. All fresh and very new. Staff were all very friendly. Food - Recommend the Fajitas, soups of the day, prawn cocktail. The breakfast is as mentioned in other reviews plentiful, but seems to be prepared for the number of residents booked and left under the heat lamps. Every morning in... More

We reserved a table for a meal on Mothers Day. We had to wait 1 hr before getting our food served to us. There was no apology from the staff there reply when we mentioned the delay was 'well it is Mothers Day'. I am sure the day was not a surprise to them and surely should have more staff... More

Booked to stay for the one night as we wanted to be rested, fresh, and near Montrose Basin where we were visiting the next day. The girl at reception was friendly and helpful and showed us to our room, which was very bright, clean, and had everything in it that we needed. We decided to eat in the bar that... More

Three of us stayed while we were in the area getting our first games in of the season. Appeared freshly decorated. Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a good bar downstairs that seemed to be the hub of the community. I would definitely stay here again. Couldn't fault it at all.

New 9 room extension been built onto the original pub. So nice and clean and extremely comfortable. Shower and bath available. Slippers and dressing gown provided, really nice touch. Only stayed 1 night but wished had booked in for another. The bar/restaurant was excellent and food really nice. Our 18 month grandaughter was welcomed with open arms. The breakfast was... More
