Never stayed here just dropped in for an evening meal when in the area. Now this is a chef who knows how to cook a steak to perfection! This plus the ample serving of chips n veg made it a most memorable evening....keep me a seat...i'll be back!!!

My husband and I have just finished a lovely lunch. After which, we both ordered Hendricks gin and tonic. The bar staff garnished it with cucumber perfectly. Food and service were great too. We will definitely return!

If bars & hotels are going to stock a range of gins then they should know how to serve them, not just with "ice & slice." This is a hotel & restaurant yet I'm told they have no cucumber to garnish my Hendricks & tonic. I wonder what they put in their salads! And the Dunhill Cup is on in... More

I'm sorry to hear there was no cucumber available when you requested it, we do stock it but unfortunately we must have ran out at that time. I can only apologise and will make sure it doesn't happen again. More

Recent experience elsewhere said I needed a good meal out. Have passed this place many a time but didn't feel it shouting out to me to give it a try. At last though we did. And glad we did so. Modern yet relaxed with good atmosphere. Lots of corners. Service excellent and quick. Food good. I chose Chicken Jalfrezi from... More

Despite a difficult day with a rogue live wire the food was excellent. The breaded haddock was perfectly cooked with a proper crunchy coating. Chicken and ham pie was very good with the peppery potatoes a standout. Don't know why they feel the need to sell delicious smokie and salmon fishcakes as Thai, lose the chilli sauce, serve with watercress... More

Had a pleasant bar lunch with work colleagues. Our order and food were taken and delivered without a fuss while we continued with our chat without interruption. The bar menu has a decent selection. We all selected panini' which had very good fillings and were accompanied by some salad, crisps and coleslaw. The prices were reasonable too - 3 panini's... More

Ate here on Thursday night whilst on a business trip to the Golf. Wasn't sure what to expect but both the food and service was excellent. Young lady with long blonde hair was our waitress, lovely and smiley and nothing too much trouble for her at all. She is a credit to your establishment. Please pass on our thanks to... More
