Had a braw meal here. Would recommend the toblerone pudding (gluten free) nice staff too. Better than the food at the big hotel we are at... Can't submit a photo as I've scoffed the lot... Mum had a nut roast, that went well, better than expected... as a notoriously picky eater and cerial complainer I'm shocked and delighted at the... More

Visited Station Hotel last Sunday. The lounge was very busy but the waitress found us a table, both had the "famous steak pie" with chips & veg, food & service amazing as always. Now booked for Christmas lunch!

A good basic hotel in an ideal location for an overnight stay. Staff were very good, room was clean and tidy and the food served was very nice, breakfast in the morning was excellent. A definite recommendation for a good value hotel stay.

Good value and good food. A large double room and a comfortable bed, We could hear the trains pass but not too loud or too frequent. Breakfast was lovely. Several choices, served promptly= Thoroughly recommend the Arbroath Smokie. Delicious.

Recommended to me by a customer and I'm glad I stayed there. Room was good size, but the real bonus was the very attentive and friendly staff and the food was brilliant. Fish on the first night and the steak pie next. Wow !! Breakfast was brilliant too. I'm off to book more appointments north now so I can stay... More

Fish and chips was excellent. Service even better. Chicken slightly overcooked but quality of sauce and veg made up for it. Saw the steak pie, nice, but folks, get the fish and chips. Again the staff couldn't be nicer

Have been a visitor with family and friends over the 21 years I have lived in Carnoustie bateau pie is legendary and their Stovies recipe is s closely guarded secret - much to my English cousin's disappointment. Don't believe one bad review. This place is a fantastic place to stay and eat ......and there definately is NO dress code

A good old fashioned hotel with great staff, a great menu and a lovely atmosphere. Don't miss out on the fish and chips and steak pie. The locals love this place and we use it regularly to meet up. A good central location, close to the beach, park and the bike path along the coast.
