We stayed for three nights while visiting relatives in Arbroath. Loris is a generous host, able to give helpful information about the local area. The breakfasts were excellent, she focuses on local products. The room was very comfortable. A great location, just a few minutes walk from the High Street. Recommended for anyone looking for BnB accommodation in Arbroath.

We had a great 2 night's stay at the Old Vicarage. The accommodation is excellent with a modern interpretation of a Victorian theme. Our room was lovely and the attention to detail exceptional. Our host, Loris went out of her way to make us feel at home and I must recommend her homemade preserves and loaves at breakfast. You would... More

This is a delightful B&B with an excellent breakfast menu. Lots of home made preserves and cake/breads. Loris is a wonderful host, made me an afternoon tea when I arrived and very kindly collected a picture that I'd bought in a gallery (I came by train, so didn't have my car with me). Nothing was too much trouble and we... More

There is nothing negative to say about this place. The house is a large beautiful Victorian, in a quiet location close to restaurants and pubs, the coast, and the historical Abbey. Loris the owner is pleasant and kind, and abundantly resourceful and thoughtful. She prepared fresh breakfast every morning according to our choices, and it exceeded our expectations. Our room... Loris was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for good eating venues and places to visit. The house is very old and full of character - is clean, bright and has every facility. A tea tray and scone on arrival was a welcome extra. Breakfast included healthy options and the famous Arbroath fish which was expertly cooked. Our room was... More

We travel to Arbroath once a year to visit my family and we always stay at The Old Vicarage. Loris is such a friendly host and nothing is too much trouble for her. The whole ambience of the house makes us feel so comfortable and the breakfasts are first class. In fact we don't eat again until early evening! The... More

We had a very friendly welcome, and the house was extremely well decorated. Breakfast was amazing, with homemade jam, and so filling we didn't need to have lunch! We were offered plenty of advice on where to eat and what to see so really enjoyed our stay.

Loris is very attentive and the B&B very homely and clean. It is well situated in Arbroath with the Abbey, Cliff tops and harbour all walkable if you don't mind a bit of a stroll. Room was comfortable, good cuppa and scone on arrival, and Loris full of information and useful tips about Arbroath and the wider area. Good breakfast... More
