Hadn’t been for a couple of years popped in for spot of lunch. We were a party of three, served pub food quickly and exactly as described. Both the bar and restaurant and a few people in. All COVID stuff managed very well. Another good place in Arbroath

Lovely place to stay food great especially the full English breakfast, there was everything there . Had a meal there in the afternoon, scampi for me and steak pie for hubby both were excellent .Room spotless and looking out to the North Sea, wonderful. Staff lovely. Breakfast served to your room due to the restrictions but that was not a problem. Would definitely stay there again.

So it’s not very plush. We have stayed in fancier hotels. But it was very comfortable, clean and the staff were friendly helpful and organised. The most surprising thing about it was the food which was fresh, well cooked and beautifully presented. They had many dairy free and gluten free options and the selection of whiskeys was so fabulous. I’d definitely recommend you give it a try and wake up to a gorgeous breakfast and step out to the smell of the sea and the locally smoked fish which all added to the charm. Well done you lot I couldn’t fault it. !!

We spent a few days this week at the old brewhouse... the accommodation was superb and the evening meals were astounding. The staff managed the whole covid 19 issue so professionally they are a credit to the establishment. I've passed Arbroath for years going to Aberdeen but never stopped. Arbroath and definitely the old brewhouse is on the calendar for a revisit.

We stayed for two nights in Dangerpoint. We were checked into our room by a friendly young lady who was very efficient and made us feel welcome. The room has breathtaking views out to sea and to the harbour and has a luxury boutique feel with fresh modern decor. The bed was so comfortable and we slept very well. Having a sofa in the room meant after a long day exploring we had somewhere to sit comfortably and relax. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was pure luxury with double shower heads and excellent water pressure. The walk in wardrobe had ample space and an added bonus of a full length mirror. Due to Covid our breakfast was served to our room, pre booking the night before - we actually loved this because we could sit watching the boats and listening to the waves. We ate twice in the restaurant and the food was delicious and well priced, Covid requirements were addressed and executed to a high standard, the staff work so hard and are the friendliest we’ve ever met. If you are planning a trip to Arbroath book The Old Brewhouse as you won’t be disappointed.
