Last minute decision to stop for dinner. Found the old Brewhouse. They fitted us in. The food took 20 minutes to arrive but that's because they cooked it and not from pre cooked ingredients. Only two young staff on for 40 diners but you would nor have noticed. They were superb. No delays. Perfect service.

I received a gift voucher for my birthday and took my niece, sister, daughter and her friend here for lunch. I'd never been before and we were a mixed bunch of all ages so not sure what to expect. We were given a warm welcome and seated in the cosy bar. The choices on the menu were numerous and all...

Had a lovely family meal today food was amazing service was excellent. Also dog friendly, Spangle was made so welcome and got some treats. Haddock was lovely and fresh and the Steak pie was to die for with absolutely loads of tender steak and gravy in it. Will definitely be back soon.

Stopped off en route from Aberdeen to Edinburgh to sample the smokies. Was not disappointed. Smokies where delicious and the service was excellent. I had my smokies (smoked haddock) with new potato and salad and a large glass of Pinot Grigio! Would love to visit again, will be ordering smokies home!

We visited with old friends for a 2 night break. Both couples were very happy indeed with the quality of the rooms (old Harbour and Bellrock ). The rooms are bright, spotlessly clean with excellent shower rooms and showers themselves were excellent for both temperature control and power/volume delivered. Tea and coffee are provided along with good selection of toiletries....

We went for lunch. Very nice food in an extremely pleasant pub. The young man waiting on was courteous, cheery and efficient. My husband said his bacon and smokie ramekin starter was to die for and a meal in itself. We will be back.

We were a large party of 26 who had a booking and pre selected from a set menu. Everything went very smoothly and all the staff were very friendly a credit to the restaurant. The food was excellent and portions were huge! We had two small dogs in our company and these were also welcomed with a member of staff...

Found this restaurant online and after reading the reviews decided to find out for ourselves. We had a fantastic meal with a friendly and efficient service. The menu had lots to offer and we found ourselves struggling to decide what to have. After making our choice we were not disappointed and will definitely be going back to try the other...

Arrived in Arbroath to break the journey on the way home from holiday. Our decision to go to the Old Brewhouse for lunch was solely based on the fact we had a dog with us. We couldn't have been made more welcome (they were setting up for a wedding when we descended on them). Nothing was too much trouble for...

I have never done a review on here before but this is definitely worth doing so for me... I was booked into this place by my work for a one night stay and really didn't expect anything quite so delightful... After driving from Birmingham on a Sunday I was instantly annoyed with myself for not leaving earlier as I missed...
