A beautiful place for our stay in Scotland. Ann and Gordon were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were delicious , with fresh local produce . We were served pancakes every morning and bread baked by Ann.

This was my second stay at Croftsmuir Steading. The first one was in 2013 and when I was planning this trip, there was no question about staying there again. The rooms are private, quiet, and have great views. The guest living room is a wonderful place to unwind and watch the light change on the landscape as the sun sets,... More

We really enjoyed our stay in a very convenient atmosphere. I can Highly recommend it. For breakfast we got freshpancakes. The price is also ok with 30 Pound. Between 15 min you can get to Abrouth, which is s Harbour town. It is Nice to have traditional smoky there.

Rooms were everything that you could wish for, comfy beds,... More

Breakfast we will never forget. Family room very well organised. The view is wonderful (sea, fields, pond, flowers even hares!) Welcomed warmly and kindly. It was really interesting to practice English/Scottish accent and share our different way of life

I stay at many bed and breakfasts across Scotland as I think they are a great form of hospitality and are cheaper than hotels. It was a little out of arbroath town but that just meant it was peaceful and I had better views of the beautiful countryside. And Gordon and Anne (the owners) are always talking to you and... More

Superb stay at the Croftsmuir Bed and Breakfast! Again, working from home so in need of the perfect surroundings to make us feel at Home and this place certainly done that. Its the 1st place in 6mths of working throughout Scotland that we got offered a Cuppa Tea without having to make it ourselves in the room. As sson as... More
