Used to eat at the St Olaf very regular and we're always neglected by unattentive staff and waited long periods of time for drinks and food to be served. Such a shame as food is delicious when you eventually get it.

Husband and I had dinner at the St Olaf, our favourite place to eat. Food is consistenly good and plentiful at the St Olaf. We have never had a disappointing meal here. Good, friendly service, good food and plenty of it and value for money. Can't ask for more than that!

Poor welcome - felt unwanted. Reflected in whole service Had scampi snack box - scampi tasted like it came out a packet despite being in a lovely fishing community. Dessert - warm chocolate brownies - were not warm in the slightest. But were rich and tasty. Orange juice had with meal - served in a tiny wine glass - one... More

We visited St Olaf for Sunday evening meal and we were met with courteous staff and within minutes we were ordering pre dinner drinks. The meals of steak pie or in this case stew with puff pastry on top Yes it was very nice , but I would like to see traditional steak pie I'm sure chef could rustle the... More

We live in Cruden Bay and have a choice of where to eat but I would much rather go here than anywhere else. Great value and only go if you are hungry as they like to feed you. Then there is the puddings WOW WOW!!!

I have been here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The pub is a great addition to a very good restaurant. All the food is cooked fresh and the service is homely and friendly. If you fancy a pint the beer is very good and the landlord is a cracker of a guy. Great wee pub

Travelling north from Aberdeen, and taking the A975 coastal route, the hotel is easy to find. A warm friendly welcome and after depositing our cases we found the bar for a gargle or two. Our room was nice and comfortable with a beautiful view of the golf course and in the distance to Slain's Castle. We had nice evening meal... More

Early Dinner at the St. Olaf in Cruden Bay, yesterday. We were lucky to get a table without a booking as most tables were reserved. As usual, the service was friendly and the food was very good. Husband had a Chicken Maryland which was enormous and he struggled to eat it all but he was enjoying it and was persistant... More
