Easy and fast check in, and friendly receptionist. The room was large, and had separate toilet. The continental breakfast was simple. Hotel had bar in the lobby, and two elevators. Hotel was located in a quiet area, and only a short walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

Great Location for a night out/ shopping trip to Aberdeen, good sized clean rooms great price but breakfast disappointed us. The cooked items were cold and the orange juice tasted like weak flavoured water.

Many thanks for your feedback Trudydudy22, glad you appreciated the location and found the rooms good value. Apologies that your breakfast experience fell short of expectations, this is definitely not our usual standard and I'll be sure to bring it to the attention of the kitchen staff to prevent any recurrence. The Holiday inn Express in Chapel St. is in an xxcellent location in Aberdeen city centre. The location is ideal for those doing business in the city centre and/or those who want to be in walking distance to pubs and restaurants. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is good and staff are helpful. My main complaint is that...

I booked 2 nights from Friday to Sunday for me and my girlfriend so we could visit Aberdeen on a short city break. We hired a car, but I had to park in the multi-storey around the corner as there are only 10 free parking spaces in the hotel, however the parking prices for the multi-storey are very reasonable (£10...

Stayed for a couple of nights as I was having my 21st birthday party in Aberdeen. Booked a double room with a sofa bed for me and my brother as there were no twin rooms left and he wouldn't share a bed with me. No duvet provided for sofa bed so in the end he had to share with me....

Many thanks for your review Alice D, we appreciate your feedback. The sofa-bed certainly should have been made-up with a duvet and I'm afraid I'm at a loss to explain why it wasn't on this occasion. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. A quick call to reception would however have solved the problem extremely quickly. We're not aware of any...

Decided on this location as IHG member and being situated in City Centre. Parking very limited, with only 2 Blue Badge bays, but chained up to prevent non badge holders using. Great idea. Staff very helpful and courteous, Rooms spacious and quiet. Would definitely stay here again if I was planning another visit to Aberdeen.

Great location, quiet at the back of the hotel away from the street. Friendly and Professional staff. Breakfast was excellent - a level above normal HIE breakfasts. There are proper meaty sausages, scrambled eggs made with eggs, not powder, and bacon ! Bacon !! If only other HIE did the same. Booked back for next week and will use this...

Very pleased with location. The room and bathroom were very nice and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was the best we have had in all the holiday express hotels we have ever stayed in. Everything you expect from a continental breakfast but also scrambled egg bacon sausages and beans. Very comfortable bed also .

Free parking, free breakfast, free wifi and right in the.middle of the city all for £50. Hard to fault. Reception are friendly and efficient, breakfast staff are hard working amd there was plenty to go round although busy. The rooms are clean with nice linen on a comfortable bed. Only negative is that the toilet is bland.
