First class facilities, first class service, first class dining and a killer wine list. Stayed there 3 times now and have had the same excellent experience each and every time. Pretty easy to find but set in a serene property near Aberdeen, a great getaway or place to relax between rounds of golf or other tourist travels.

While our room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was in need of significant updating; none-the-less, I would likely stay here next visit. The public spaces were quite nice and cozy. The restaurant and staff were first class and we enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast.

We attended our nephews wedding on Saturday at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa,justifiably five stars, one of only two 5 star hotels in Aberdeen. It was a wonderful occasion. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure the wedding was an unforgettable experience. The food was superb, served by a team of well trained, happy smiling staff. Following an overnight stay in a lovely, quiet comfortable room,an... More

Been coming to the Marcliffe for years with my family, at least 3 times a year. We love it, couldn't fault a thing with regards to décor, staff, food, quality, quantity, attention to detail is amazing. They make you feel special every visit. We stayed the night on this occasion also and its just as great, prosecco chilling in an... More

It was a great location as I had booked orchestra tickets for my partner and I at the International school which was literally a 5 minute walk away. The outside and main areas of the hotel were lovely. There was an extensive range of single malt whisky which my partner is a huge fan of. I was disappointed in the... More

We had been given a gift voucher to return to The Marcliffe and we did this past weekend. We were in the Craigievar room which was most comfortable and although the bathroom is a bit dated and in need of a freshen up it did nothing to stop us loving our room. It was very clean, spacious and pleasantly decorated.... More

This hotel is hardly better than a bed and breakfast, the rooms are old the bathrooms are old it is just a case of decay getting worse by the moment . It has signes all over the place saying it is a member of the Small Leading Hotels, this is simply not true! The restaurant other than a rather good... More

This was our first choice of wedding venue as it is in a great location, we have enjoyed great food and service here in the past and know of many people who have married here and recommended it highly. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making organising our big day much easier. On the day itself we were not... More

we had a great luxurious relaxing night here. We had a FABULOUS meal.....the restaurant does something very smart - you sit down for drinks - snacks - you order your dinner - then the host comes to get you and takes you to your table. You don't feel rushed, it's just a brilliant way for the chef to be organized.... More

Firstly the staff are delightful, attentive and courteous. The surroundings lend an air of peace and tranquillity to the general high quality of the Hotel itself. Rooms are well equipped, comfortable and provide a touch of luxury to your stay. The Dining and Breakfast room was airy, comfortable and though busy never felt crowded. The lounge areas were quiet and... More
