We came upon the Ashgrove when we were looking for dog-friendly accommodation for our 2 Labs and have stayed here ever since. Made a reservation over the phone for two weeks and gave my credit/debit card details to secure. Arrived at 9pm to check in to find no-one home. Had to stay in a nearby hotel for the first night. Returned the next morning to be told that despite her taking my booking a few weeks previously, the lady running the guesthouse... More
