Room was really nice but absolutely no view, just 3 walls!Very disappointed! Breakfast wasn't very good either. All in all it was a bed for the night, and nothing more. Receptionist was very nice and staff in restaurant loaned me a fork so that I could eat my tea in my room, so no complaints about staff.

I had a really good time at the highland Hotel. Being a backpacker staying at a fairly lowpriced Hotel, I was completely blown away. The room was great, bathroom nice and clean and the Breakfast was far better than expected! Great staff - great price

This is a budget hotel lets not deny that. Being positive, the bedrooms were clean and of adequate size. However, the toilet wouldn't flush properly. I also didn't sleep well as was persistently woken up by people in corridors and (seagulls??) hawking and scuttling on the roof. There is only a basement bar downstairs for a public space. Breakfasts are... More

Stayed here on a shopping trip to Aberdeen, just 5 mins away from the train station, ideal if you don't drive. Had a twin room with double beds, room was clean & really nice. Staff are lovely & very helpful. Breakfast is great if you like the full English, as a non meat eater I struggled but the chef made... More

Stayed in the Executive Apartments for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. New chef at the hotel since our last visit. What a fantastic meal we had. Highly recommend a visit to the Saddlery. Food and service was top class. Everything was freshly cooked and so tasty. Staff very helpful and friendly. Give it a try!

Just back home after staying at the Highland Hotel from 03/04 till 11/04. I actually fell lucky and ended up in one of the self contained apartments that the hotel owns. Flat was excellent, cleaned daily & fresh towels. Good selection for breakfast & also for lunch & dinner. Staff were all excellent & wee bonus if you are staying... More

This place used to serve lovely food, didn't rate it much this visit, pretty poor actually, won't rush back. Better places to eat in Aberdeen. Have 2 Vegetarian's in the family,VERY limited options for them.

I was making a short trip to Aberdeen, arriving late and leaving early so I needed a hotel close to the station. The Highland Hotel is literally a 10 minute walk once you know the route. The reception staff were very friendly, the room was clean and tidy, the WiFi worked and the breakfast that was included in the price... More
