We have stayed in this hotel several times in the last couple of years and generally enjoyed the stay , we stayed for our first mid week stay and were deeply disappointed with the breakfast having paid £9 each and having to go elsewhere to get something to eat as there was nothing in the hot selection and no bread for toast , we told the reception staff and they did not seem to care , We booked an upgraded room which was quite rough and had a few long black hairs in the shower , i thought at this time cleanliness would have been top priority !! we would find it hard to go back as the staff dont seem to care , we have been there 4 times in the last 2 years and have not seen the same staff so maybe in 6 months it might be ok dont bother trying Private messaging the hotel as they dont reply

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed overnight and was extremely happy with the club double room, bed was huge, extremely clean room and all around hotel, staff were fab, very friendly and helpful, are in the bar in the evening, was ok but could have been better. Breakfast same, but otherwise delighted with our stay, so close to shops and bars, definitely stay there again and would recommend it.

The room room, ok. Staff friendly and helpful. So 2 single beds you push together (too easily) not good for a couple. Bathroom really needs an upgrade as does the bedroom, screaming children running the corridor. £9 breakfast not worth it, ran out of fruit, hot cooked breakfast, no pastries left, poor breakfast housekeeping.

Recently visited for the weekend, hotel staff were very accommodating and room was nice and spacious. A few cracks on the bathroom tiles but apart from this the room was clean. Breakfast was okay, but not a huge hot food variety. Overall a nice stay.

Well didn't get a chance to experience this 4 star hotel, our reservation got cancelled and transferred to anothet hotel at the last minute but the other hotel is a 3 star hotel not another 4 star! The reason for our cancellation and transfer is because the front line manager said that head office wants to use the hotel rooms etc so they had to cancel customers for them! Paying customers should always come first and not be treated disrespectfully, and when the front line manager says they would find us anothrt 4 star hotel, they would cover the costs, but when they called back, they denied saying that! I would not recommend this hotel, if you do book, please keep checking your emails for last minute cancellation or alterations.

Dear Greenockboi, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, in this case, the issue that caused you to be moved to another hotel was out of our hands. Given the challenging situation, the team did their utmost to accommodate you at the last minute. Given the short lead of this matter, we did our best to contact you as quickly as possible and gain you accommodation at another hotel. It was not our intention for this to happen and we are very sorry we failed to meet your expectations and would appreciate another chance to earn your business. Best Regards Jamie
